It's a simple 3-step process. a) Dunk any poo into the toilet and rinse off any excess on the diaper using a water spray 2) Dry pail the pee/rinsed diapers and 3) Machine washing. Washing can be done every day or every other day. Detailed washing instructions are provided after purchase.
2. What temperature to wash the cloth diapers? What detergent is recommended?
You can wash at 40 degrees celsius. All detergents that do not contain bleach or softener, as these contain chemicals that will hamper the absorption of the inserts. Brands like Tide, Top, Persil and Dynamo are most commonly used. You do not need to spend extra money on organic detergents.
3. What age can my baby start using cloth diapers?
This is a one-size adjustable cloth diaper, which you can use from newborn till 3 years old (15kg). The snap buttons allows you to adjust the size of the diaper as baby grows.
4. How many cloth diapers do I need?
Most parents own at least 10 cloth diapers if cloth diapering part-time, and 20 to 30 sets if cloth diapering full-time. To start, you can get 6 cloth diapers for part-time and 12 cloth diapers for full-time first, then add more as you progress.
5. Is this cloth diaper suitable for my baby's skin?
Unlike disposable diapers which contain chemicals that babies are sensitive to, Baby Dash (by Raf Raf) cloth diapers made with suede fabric, which keeps baby dry and DOES NOT contain chemicals. If you change the cloth diaper within the recommended 2-3 hours, it's very safe and gentle for baby.
6. Is Baby Dash Cloth Diapers different from Raf Raf Bamboo Cloth Diapers?
Baby Dash (by Raf Raf) is our economy brand cloth diapers, specially for budget conscious parents. How The Cloth Diaper Works
The diaper cover has an opening or pocket specially designed to stuff an insert into. The insert absorbs the wetness and pulls that moisture away from your baby's skin. If your baby needs more absorbency for naps or overnight, extra inserts can be added to the pocket. You don't have to worry about wetting the bed because the cover is waterproof!

Who is Raf Raf? And what do we stand for?
Raf Raf built its foundations by taking part in major Baby Fairs in Singapore & Malaysia since 2012. Both its co-founders,
Hui Hui & Martin, without the resources to open physical shops, started to bootstrap and grew the brand by directly communicating with customers and getting into outdoor sales events in anyway we could.
Starting out in a HDB room, we began our journey with only 2 boxes of goods, selling in eBay at first. We actually started our 1st Baby Fair show with only 2 suitcases and no fixtures. Today we run 24-36sqm booth size at Baby Fair shows.

Raf Raf began with the intention to create more environmentally friendly products and to make children happy. That's why our first product under Raf Raf, is a cloth diaper, which began to gain prominence in the USA in 2009.
We studied the product for 6 months, spent a few months on sourcing and finally made our first prototype in 2010.
It took us another 6 years to nearly perfect our cloth diaper by constantly looking to improve it while talking to our customers and learning from them.

Children Shoes was our 2nd product because we were inspired with a trip to KL & saw almost all the children there wearing covered shoes. VS the sight in S'pore where our kids were mostly wearing slippers & sandals. A complete reverse in ratio.
We believe it has to do with sandals being simply the more affordable option plus its easier to wear for convenience sake.
That's why it became important for us to educate and focus on producing more affordable shoes to S'porean parents.
Charity work are important to us and we run annual projects to contribute and donate shoes to low income families.
Last year we ran our first 100 shoes giveaway. Reaching out to parents directly via Social Media in April. At the time of our country's first lockdown, we decided to launch this project to bring some joy and hope to children & parents alike.
The whole experience was fulfilling and we received appreciation & well wishes from fellow Singaporeans. Which is why we want to do more, help more people and see if we can achieve our goal to send out1000 pairs of shoes this year!
