Thanks so much for your support this past 10 years!
The long-awaited ver 7.1 Full-Bamboo Cloth Diapers is finally out!
We listened to all your feedback and RETAINED the Charcoal Bamboo Insert (thanks for loving it!) while making the cloth diaper cover's inner lining ALL BAMBOO.
Parents don't have to count buttons anymore! :) Matching colour buttons on each side allow for quick buttoning even if baby fidgets. E.g. Orange to Orange, so next time you don't have to count "2nd button from centre..."
Some parents ask us why we don't use velcro. We've NEVER done velcro. Because it goes against our objective of cloth diaper being cost effective. Velcro, no matter how good the quality is, no longer sticks after 6 months in the washing machine, and that's when baby is old enough to pull open the soiled cloth diaper anytime (oh my god!). If the diaper doesn't stick anymore, doesn't it mean you have to buy new diapers? Our buttons are meant to last at least 2-3 years.
Now our charcoal bamboo inserts (CBI) come pre-fold with an anti-leak design. It works like a bowl-shaped container to direct the flow of pee towards the interior of the insert. For normal flat inserts, when Baby pee shoots out very quickly, sometimes it leaks to the sides without even being absorbed. But you don't have to worry about this happening with this new anti-leak design!
After using this latest prefold insert, many of our customers now rave about "No More Leaks!" <See testimonials>.
Perhaps the biggest benefit that most parents like about our charcoal bamboo insert is that POO WASHES OFF VERY EASILY! EVEN IF IT'S HEAVILY SOILED! (As testified by many of our customers). And even if the diaper cover is wet, the charcoal bamboo insert stays very dry, hence baby's skin stays dry, too. It's almost magical, but very true. <Read more about the Benefits of Charcoal Bamboo>
The colourful Raf Raf One-Size (AI2) Cloth Diaper is one reusable, rewashable cloth diaper that you will love! Flexible enough to fit all babies from newborns up to 18 kg toddlers, this All-In-Two (AI2) diaper is the latest, most mom-friendly (and dad-friendly :P) cloth diaper in the industry today.
Raf Raf is the FIRST IN SINGAPORE to use BAMBOO CHARCOAL in our inserts. For cloth diaper inserts, two factors stand out as the most important: absorbency (how fast it absorbs) and dryness (how fast the surface fabric dries). Both relates directly to the daily comfort of the baby, as well as its effectiveness in preventing nappy rash.
During our intense search, we have tested the absorbency and quick-dry factors in many insert fabrics like organic cotton, microfibre, mixed microfibre, bamboo, charcoal bamboo, etc. Charcoal bamboo wins them all hands-down; it is the most absorbent and natural material so far to be used in cloth diapers. (See Video for comparison of different insert fabrics).
The Raf Raf Cloth Diapers is made up of 3 parts: the Diaper Cover, the Charcoal Bamboo Insert and the Organic Bamboo Insert. The exterior of the Diaper Cover is made from breathable PUL which renders it waterproof to prevent leaks from the inside to outside. The leg gussets are designed to be stretchable thus comfortable to Baby, and helps to prevent leaks as well. Many parents have complimented that our leg gussets do not leave red marks on their babies' thighs.
Raf Raf Cloth Diapers' special feature, is made to fit all babies from newborns to 3 years old (18kg). Compared to disposable diapers which are one-sized and can only be used once, this will help you save lots of money!
The snap on buttons, which are very durable and easy to click on, allows for 3 different sizes: Newborn (Small), Infant (Medium), Toddler (Large). There are 3 adjustable settings for the legs, and 5 settings for the waist. As your baby grows, so does the diaper! :)
Unlike pocket diapers where the insert is inserted into the pocket, the Raf Raf charcoal bamboo insert is attached onto the diaper cover using a snap on button which keeps it in place. This makes more sense as you can simply change the insert after Baby wets the insert without having to change the diaper cover as well.
With pocket diapers, you have to change the diaper cover too, which means you have to buy as many diaper covers as the number of inserts you have! Some people end up with a stash of 40-50 pocket diapers because of this... and that’s a lot of money! Besides, pocket diapers tend to leak more because the insert is not directly receiving the pee/poo. (It's also harder to wash off poo in the inside corners of pocket diapers.)
The Raf Raf Charcoal Bamboo Insert is the most important feature of Raf Raf Bamboo Cloth Diapers. It is highly absorbent and can absorb up to 4 hours of pee. And after baby pees, the charcoal bamboo fabric, which is the layer in direct contact with baby's skin, dries within 1 minute, thus minimising the risk of diaper rash.
Yes, this means the inner lining is literally (and figuratively, haha!)
for our babies! No kidding, the bamboo fabric inner lining isreally soft and comfy, you'll agree with us once you get a feel of it. And it feels cool to the touch, too! In Japan and Korea, Bamboo has been known to be 30% MORE BREATHABLE THAN COTTON. Great for our increasingly scorching hot weather!
This Bamboo Fabric is UNBLEACHED, plus it retains the benefits of Charcoal Bamboo.
DESIGNED TO SUIT HOT CLIMATES
The benefits are enormous--chemical free, soft, cool, comfy, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, odour-resistant, just to name a few. Many of you have told us that microfleece (the ones found on most online platforms) is too hot for our tropical weather, that's because microfleece is used mostly in U.S., Europe and Australia (remember the winter fleece jackets? That's the same fleece) and thus not suitable for Southeast Asian climate.
We found bamboo fabric to be the perfect solution. Bamboo is naturally cooling, doesn't conduct heat, breathable, slightly anti-bacterial and remain cool. Try it to be convinced! :)
The top layer of the night insert is Bamboo fabric too. This is not the grey charcoal bamboo fabric as the costs would be much too high, but bamboo (unbleached). The reason we use Unbleached Bamboo fabric is because compared to microfibre, bamboo is still a better, more natural fabric. Plus, this night insert doubles as a training pants insert when you're ready to potty train baby, i.e. around 18-24 months. <Read Below: Night Insert Doubles as Training Pants>
----> Note: Some of you may ask if the 'coolness' of the bamboo is too 'cooling' for our babies' skin. Be rest assured, bamboo is a natural heat circulator (thermo-regulator). When it's warm, it keeps one cool. When it's cold, it keeps one warm. That's one amazing thing about Bamboo, and accounts for why it's the rage in Japan and Korea.
When Baby is about 18 months old and you want to start potty training, use the night insert in place of the charcoal bamboo insert. What's the difference between the 2 inserts? The charcoal bamboo insert stays dry, while the organic bamboo night insert stays wet. This will make Baby uncomfortable, and thus potty training can begin...
This is something we're very excited about. Raf Raf wants our Raf Raf babies to be special and different, so we got a designer to add in these cute elements. For now, there are 18-23 colours. All are very good quality prints. With these new funky designs, your baby can now LOOK GOOD AND BE DIFFERENT!

I've been using Raf Raf cloth diapers part time for the last two weeks and I have to say that I'm very satisfied with them so far. The new charcoal bamboo inserts are absorbent and do a good job of wicking the moisture away from baby's bottom. The gussets are good at holding the poo in and preventing leakage too. Raf Raf is great 'cause I don't need to change the shells every single time my little one has a diaper change. As a brand and an experience, Raf Raf has met and exceeded my expectations! :)

I love my Raf Raf diapers! My baby is a super heavy wetter and leaks out of most of the diapers except Raf Raf. They're my nanny's favorite diaper as well because the bamboo charcoal layer stays dry even after the bottom gets wet. Thank you for making such an awesome diaper!
~ Monica Jalandoni, Philippines
It's my diaper of choice for going out, playtime and even night use. It has the pretty adorable designs that makes baby's bum look cute and it's soft to touch. Performance wise, it can last up to 6 hours and still no leaks, it fits well and doesn't leave garter marks on baby's thigh, the bamboo charcoal prefold works well in preventing leaks yet gives baby that stay-dry feeling. Can be used as Ai2 and also as a pocket diaper as well. Red bear is my little girl's worn diaper on her 1st birthday, perfect match for her red birthday gown.

I bought the starter pack and 10 inserts at the baby expo in Suntec. Reluctant to switch brands at first, I was persuaded to try your product due to the convenience it offered in comparison to the washable nappy brand I was already used to.
Overall, I find Raf Raf to keep its absorbancy better and even after many washes, it remains soft. It is easier to clean (the poo drops off easier) and does not have a smell after the wash. I spend less time folding and preparing the nappies for the next use as it's designed so well, even working mums with no helper can fit it in and think about the environment! Overall, very pleased customer and a very happy baby.

I know its mind boggling for most parents to buy the best products out there for your beloved baby, and we are no different. Early last year, we chanced upon Martin's (Raf Raf) booth at one of the baby fair and after a few rounds of demonstration by their staff, we decided to give this a try! And this turns out to be one of the best buy out of the enormous range of baby products.
We really loved this product, and the fact that it enables us to ease into potty training provides us more reason to use it on a daily basis. I guess one of the push factors is the sheer number of diapers one baby gonna use in their early days and both of us are motivated by the fact that we are also doing our part to reduce the usage of disposable diapers at the same time, thus saving the environment, one step at a time.

This is a step that is necessary for all cloth diapers, not just Raf Raf cloth diapers. Pre-wash the inserts 2-4 times (wash & dry, wash & dry) using a little detergent. You can choose to handwash or machine wash. If machine washing, place the charcoal bamboo inserts in one laundry net while the night organic bamboo inserts go into another laundry net. The covers just have to wash once for hygiene.
Pre-washing the inserts removes the natural oils from the fabric that hinders absorption. If the inserts are not washed before using, some of the urine will bead up and roll down the sides of the inserts. After a few washes, the cloth inserts will absorb nicely, leaving the surface fluffy and soft for your baby.
See below for a quick guide on how you can easily handle soiled cloth diapers.
IMPORTANT Pointers to Note Before Wash:
1. Remove insert from diaper. If you use diaper liner, remove and discard it first.
2. Solid baby waste on inserts should be shaken off into the toilet and flushed. Softer waste can be spray-rinsed with diaper sprayer or mini toilet shower attached in the bathroom.
3. Rinse and put in washing machine or in separate pail to consolidate wash. No soaking is necessary. Before putting into washing machine, put nappies & inserts into separate laundry nets for delicate washing.
4. Wash your nappies up to 40 degree celsius in normal wash cycle (Gentle Wash). Use only ¼ to ½ of the detergent's recommended amount per wash load. Try not to spin dry if possible.
5. After the washing is finished, your cloth diapers should smell fresh and clean with no hint of urine, faeces, ammonia or other unpleasant odours. Be sure to take note of any suds left in your final rinse water and re-rinse if needed. Rinsing is one of the most important steps when cleaning your cloth diapers and should not be overlooked!
Once your cloth diapers are clean, they are ready to be line dried. It is not recommended to use the dryer, unless it has a low heat function. The heat from the sun will help to sanitize the diapers. Line drying your cloth diapers will save you more money!
